Palmer Orchids and Florida Wines   

OLLI goes to Bradenton for a day of orchids and wine tasting. We will begin the morning at Palmer Orchids for a 30-minute talk with Glen Gary, an orchid grower with over 40 years of experience. Participants will have the opportunity to peruse the greenhouses to explore and shop the many varieties. Next, we will head over for a short ride to Fiorelli Winery for lunch, a tasting and self-guided tour of the vineyard, which focuses on six different varieties of Muscadine grapes. Fee includes roundtrip transportation from Eckerd College, lunch, presentations and tastings.
