Six decades as one of the most successful composers of all time, Bacharach and David were honored with the 2012 Gershwin Prize. With a catalog of more than 500 compositions and dozens of international top ten and number one hits in addition to a Grammy-award winning and Tony nominated musical, Bacharach was still setting records when he died on February 8th.
