Exploring Pinellas' Barrier Islands   

The barrier islands of lower Pinellas County, including Egmont Key, have a little-known but rich history. Fascinating topics include homesteading, a hermit, an Indian village, hotels and the famous people who frequented them, and much more. Instructor Jerry Knight will also reveal Egmont Key's unique history, including its role in the Trail of Tears.
