Strategic Offense and Defense in the Cold War   

The Cold War conflict between the USSR and the US would begin a technology race to build both offensive and defensive weapons that would change the nature of warfare forever. This course looks at the history and development of the ballistic missile, the jet fighter, surface-to-air missiles, energy weapons, and more and their impact on the Cold War.
