Florida Winter Weather Explained   

You may not have to worry about snow in the Florida Wintertime, but the season does come with more than just sunshine! In this session, Jennifer Hubbard, Warning Coordination Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Ruskin, will discuss winter cold fronts and the potential severe weather that they can bring to the state, how El Nino and La Nina patterns impact the state in wintertime, and with it being Florida's dry season, how that impacts fire weather and potential drought conditions.
