The Exploration of the Outer Planets

In our solar system there are giants. Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus are truly massive worlds with moons of every shape and size. The exploration of these worlds which started with the telescope continues today with spacecraft. Each one of these worlds has been visited by spacecraft and we've even sent a spacecraft to Pluto. The exploration of these worlds has opened up the eyes of humanity to new possibilities not only in our solar system but in others. This course will be about the exploration of the giants of our solar system and a minor world called Pluto.
