Description: Yoga has been shown to improve overall health when practiced regularly. Participants in the chair yoga program will practice safe, functional movement with a chair as support. This program incorporates breath-work, meditation techniques, and gentle yoga poses to build strength, range of motion and balance. Poses are taught with all levels in mind. Students experience the benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor. No special apparel or props are needed.
