Experience the beauty of the wind and water while under sail on Boca Ciega Bay. Sailors and non-sailors alike will be welcomed aboard a 26’ Colgate sailboat where they will be introduced to basic sailing skills and nautical terminology. You will have the opportunity to take a turn at the helm or simply enjoy a relaxing sail.
The class begins with a brief shoreside discussion and then the majority of the time is spent outside on the water. Please dress for the weather, wear shoes that can get wet and will stay on your feet, bring sunscreen and reusable water bottle. We recommend leaving valuables at home because there is always a chance of them getting wet or lost overboard.
